Wish List

Angle Dozer  Received! Thanks, John Deere and RDO Equipment Co.!

  • Smaller dozer on tracks with 6 way angle blade to replace 35-year-old John Deere 350 loader.

Air Compressor

  • 750 cfm or larger still needed to replace nearly 30-year-old compressors.

Excavator Received! Thanks, Case!

·         Larger excavator to supplement the Case 9010 in use every day.  A larger unit will give us greater reach for clearing blast rock and the option to consider an excavator mounted drill in the future.

Boom truck

·         Boom truck or all-terrain Boom Lift (like JLG 600 crawler series) to position crew safely and efficiently for work on vertical walls.

Pickup trucks and utility vehicles

We have recently found that small, 4-wheel or 6-wheel utility vehicles (like John Deere Gator) work very well on the benches and ramps on the mountain. We could use one or two more to supplement the Gator we are currently using. We also still need pickup trucks:

  • One heavy duty 4-wheel-drive truck for mountain crews.
  • A 1-ton pickup with service box for maintenance crews.
  • 2 full-size pickups for general use.

Computer equipment

  • Laptop computer for use on the mountain.

Equipment Maintenance Shop needs

  • Wire feed welder for shop on mountain.
  • Plasma cutter.
  • General shop tools for maintenance work on heavy equipment.
