Crazy Horse Memorial’s winter media guests included:

• Stephen Fry, well-known British humorist, writer and actor (“Jeeves & Woster”).

The stop at the Memorial, including an interview with mountain carving foreman Casimir Ziolkowski, is part of the “Stephen Fry in America” series.

For his travelogue, Fry is winding through the states and relating some of his encounters in the “real” America. Producers say the peak-time program will be

geared for a Sunday night family audience beginning this fall. The BBC World Service will offer it to a global audience, including the PBS.

• 13 Productions from Paris. The French company filmed a segment for its documentary “Travel Notebooks.” The documentary, spearheaded by Director Jean Louis-Porte and Alain Catez, will seek to take the audience to new and different places. The documentary will be aired on French public television in June.

• Dale Brown, the former big college basketball coach (25 years at LSU; his players included Shaquille O’Neal).

Brown accompanied a small crew shooting a promotional video for the United Tribes Technical College from Bismarck, N.D. Brown is from Minot, N.D., and is now a motivational speaker.
