Business
group honors Memorial partners
Crazy
Horse Memorial Foundation and Korczak’s Heritage Inc. gained recent honors from
a statewide organization for the operation’s combined excellence in business.
The South
Dakota Chamber of Commerce & Industry named the nonprofit Foundation and
for-profit Korczak’s Heritage corporation a finalist for Business of the Year in
the annual ABEX competition. The Awards for Business Excellence program is held
in conjunction with the Governor’s Giant Vision Awards contest for businesses
and college-level students.
Although
finishing a runnerup to a Sioux Falls firm, the Memorial’s partners were cited
for the long-term commitment to free enterprise that is funding the largest
sculptural undertaking in the world.
